Michael Dent grew up in a farming community in the Mid West where he learnt the value of good work ethics and to have a pragmatic view on what's going on around you.
After finishing a 12 months return of service to a large electrical contracting company where Michael did his apprenticeship, he set off to see the world, starting with our beautiful country New Zealand where he eventually returned to put down roots in Rotorua.
"After working in various sectors, my wife Cathy and I started our own business and 24 years later the time was right for a career change and joined the team at Hallam Jones Mortgages, t/a Mortgage Link Rotorua where I obtained my qualifications in Financial Services", Michael said.
Michael enjoys outdoor activities especially golf, relaxing with a good book and spending as much time with the family.
